Scientific and Educational Activities:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fields of research: civil law, European law, Hungarian and EU consumer protection law.
Number of scholarly publications: over 360, including 26 monographs, 6 edited volumes, and 97 book chapters.

She began her academic teaching career in 1981 in Miskolc and became a full professor in 2002.
She taught civil and European law at the Faculty of Law in Miskolc for nearly 30 years, where she headed the Institute of Civil Law and later the Department of European Law (1997–2002).
She was the founding head of the Department of Commercial Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (1998–2002).
Dean of the Deák Ferenc Faculty of Law, Széchenyi István University (2013–2021), and head of the Department of Civil Law (2015–2021). Currently serves as professor at the same faculty.

Over a 42-year academic career, she has taught thousands of law students at the faculties of law in Miskolc, Pázmány, and Széchenyi István University.

International Legal Engagements:

Member of the International Association of Consumer Law; served on its Board of Directors (1996–2000). Member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy of European Law (ERA) (2004–2010)
